In general, Intermediate Algebra meets the math requirement for a two-year degree. Intermediate Algebra is considered remedial at a four-year college. College Algebra or Introduction to Statistics meets the math transfer requirement, and the math requirement for a four-year degree.These two courses can also be used towards a two-year degree.Lower level classes can be used at your college as prerequisites for the Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra and Statistics courses.
Students can enroll under the noncredit option, and take the final from home. Once a student is finished, please contact John Daly , and let him know you are finished with the course. He will pull your certificate and clear your prerequisite.
